It’s tough enough to go to Sox games at the Big A with all the annoying New England transplants and bandwagoners, but to do it Fenway — that’s impressive.
I wore my Torii Hunter jersey when I did a tour of Fenway. It was cool to check out the stadium without it being full of a-holes, although there were some Sux fans on the tour. Seeing as how I go 6’4" and was over 200 pounds I didn’t get anything more than dirtly looks from the 5’8" guys in pre-washed hats.
I am 6’3 and 155, skinny as all hell and I get the same looks, Boston fans are like little dogs. They bark a lot and act big, but in reality they will cower as soon as someone does something more than say Hold-me-back.
Games at Fenway harassing fans (I bet you remember some of these):
May 3rd 2011- Weaver falls to Buchholz – I knew it was over after that BS AB by Pedroia that went like 20 pitches. I had my sister’s law firm’s tickets 12 rows behind the plate
August 18th 2010- Santana beats Beckett- This one was a blowout, absolutely priceless, had a great time, Fenway was empty after the 7th (A few fans stayed for Sweet Caroline before leaving)
May 3rd- Buchholz demolishes Saunders- This one I believe consisted of terrible game by Saunders followed by a terrible job by Palmer at eating innings
May 5th- Lackey over Pinero- The true heartbreaker, long drive home having to deal with Chowd fans mocking me for giving up Lackey who had just pitched a gem (although I believe B Wood homered over the monster in the game)
Sept 16th 2009- Byrd over Saunders (9th inning collapse by Fuentes)- First game at Fenway. The ref forgot how to call a strike in the 9th inning, walked in the tying run then a bloop single to left evaded the sprinting (jogging) reach of Juan Rivera.
I already have March 3 circled on my calendar . . .
Need to get opening day tickets at face value. Haha. Thank goodness I will actually be in Southern California that weekend!

Big name opponents are usually the best, but the last couple years against the Red Sox and Yankees have been rough.
Going to Angel stadium and having it overrun with Sux fans just ends up pissing me off to no end, so it’s better that I just stayed home.
This year, I think we reclaim our stadium.
Mayheminthehood - February 14, 2012
just know that at Fenway
Angels fans do exist….. we hardly overrun the stadium but we do our best to piss off chowd heads
ItCouldHappen - February 14, 2012
You are doing the lord's work.
Yes. God hates Boston.
Mayheminthehood - February 14, 2012
You have gone to Fenway to annoy the chowds?
You sir are a saint.

Thanks for representing in Beantown
I remember way too much of those games; particularly the last one.
JeffJoiner - February 14, 2012
the last one was a killer
I had a mixture of hatred of Fuentesaurus Ex and the ump who couldnt call a flippin strike
ItCouldHappen - February 14, 2012
"Ball four right down the middle of the plate"
I loved that call

My preference would be any game that Pujols is playing.
Here’s to the hope that Pujols gets send down to AAA in late June, so I can catch him play at a Bees versus River Cats game.
snowhor - February 14, 2012
Sadly, it's either that or catch a game in Oakland.
snowhor - February 14, 2012

I'm going to choakland later in the season.
This is almost becoming a tradition for me. Go to choakland for the game, jam over to San Fran for some sightseeing and food.
