Pitcher's and Catcher's report in Nine Days.. Tempe Calling...
TEMPE CALLING
Tempe Calling to the Anaheim Fans
The Season’s declared and the Training’s began
Tempe Calling to the blogger world
Shoulda been a FanShot for the boys and girls
Tempe Calling now by train, plane or bus
Phony Rangermania has bitten the dust
Tempe Calling time to work on that swing
and the arms throw to anyone but Mathis catching
The Albert is coming, the wall zooming in
Baserunners jogging, balls hit to heaven
A nuclear offense and we have no fear
‘cuz Tempe is burning and we live by the heater!
Tempe Calling to the American League
Forget October baseball except on TeeVee
Tempe Calling to the zombie East Coast
Quit piling on, you’ve got nothing to boast
Tempe Calling and the stadium shouts
We'll win one for Nick at the dawn of the Trout
Tempe Calling, see we don’t like to lose
Think of October and that diving Nelson Cruz
The Albert is coming, the wall zooming in
Baserunners jogging, balls hit to heaven
A nuclear offense and we have no fear
‘cuz Tempe is burning and we live by the heater!
Now get this
Tempe Calling, yeah they might make a stink
‘cuz you know what we blogged, and you know what they drink
Tempe Calling at the dawn of the spring
After all this Let’s get Arte his ring
The Albert is coming, the wall zooming in
Baserunners jogging, balls hit to heaven
A nuclear offense and we have no fear
‘cuz Tempe is burning and we live by the heater!
Shout out to Ryan Morrison for inspiring these lyrics.

Excellent Song!
Way back when I had one about the lack of a WS ring sung to the Black Crowes “She talks to Angels” called “She likes the Angels”, but it stopped being good after ’02.

Nice
That whole album is great. Albert Can’t Fail, The Guns of Fullerton, Rangers Spring-Train in Vain…classics all.

Much more consistent than Amarista!
No one else gonna run with this? Love that band.

"Great' is an insufficient adjective ......
and it doesn’t do London Calling justice.

Happy Birthday Vladdy!
Cool to see young stud Vlad.
One of my favorite players of all time – of any team.
I wish Vladdy could have hoisted the trophy at least once with the Angels…

The Four Horsemen of the Halo-calypse
I watched as the Soth opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come and see!” I looked, and there before me was a blonde dude! He held a baseball, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.
When the Soth opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come and see!” Then another dude came out, in a fiery red jersey. He was given power to take peace from the batters and to make men strike out. To him was given a large sword.
When the Soth opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see!” I looked, and there before me was a bearded pitcher! He was wearing a chinstrap of a beard. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “A strikeout for a day’s wages, and three whiffs for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”
When the Soth opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come and see!” I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Haren, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by strikeout, groundout, and popout, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
