Reggie's been making a strong case that he needs to be considered for the everyday LF job next season

I know most of us would rather go with Crawford, myself included, but Willits everyday in LF def sounds like something Mike Scioscia would love to do.

Reggie also seems to be able to handle the #1 slot properly

Reggie Willits is not a full time major leaguer.

Very few of these guys are proving to be full time major leaguers, Rev.

Willits is demonstrating that he is less of a not-a-full-time-major-leaguer than others in red. By comparison, he has earned the right to be a not-full-time permanently.

And, considering the lack of consistency is Sosh’s daily lineup cards, that makes him a full-time not-full-time perfect player.

His defense in LF has always been superb.

And he’s had good stretches when given ample playing time.

He’s likely as much an everyday player as an Eckstein or Figgins.

Absent a trade or acquisition, the team has no better leadoff options at the moment.
