FInal Score in Anaheim: Baltimore Orioles 5, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 0

Move this video to about the 1:06 mark to understand what Angels fans watching tonight's game at home wanted to do when Howie Kendrick, Erick Aybar and Mike Napoli could not perform basic infield duties.
Meanwhile the Angels have not managed a single RBI against the Orioles for 19 consecutive innings and counting.

I didn't see any professionalism from the Angels during some later innings.
They definitely need some kind of Erstad mentality.

Bill McDonald
going apeshit – wow
Rev Halofan - August 28, 2010
someone creep on his underage poon?
norcaliangelsfan - August 28, 2010
bagging on the Angels
hair is flying all over the place in the wind in hairsprayed chunks and big bags under his eyes as he gawks into the camera and calls the Angels losers… WOW a sight indeed, Bill McDonald is a spoiled winner after his Kobe-Scioscia years
Rev Halofan - August 28, 2010

The eyebags are smaller here...
in Boston, holy cripes … they were freakin’ SUITCASES.

robot syllables are like daggers into the Angels players

Can we look forward to an angry writeup
around 2 AM later tonight?
blast21dave - August 28, 2010
We already got the angry rant writeup
A few weeks ago if I remember correctly.

He loves his "Anyels."
sheisalovelyladyandmyapologiestoher - August 28, 2010
Again. Bourjos will NOT get BOTG this year at all.
It’s not his fault this team sucks.
Monkeyspanked - August 28, 2010
Even if he left 100 guys on base
He still wouldn’t get BOTG, he is too popular right now.
ryanfea - August 28, 2010
Of course as soon as I say that
Everyone votes for Bourjos
ryanfea - August 28, 2010
Jeezus, he is the #9 hitter. If the middle of the order did their jobs properly, this would be a moot point.
Who got the hustle double tonight>? It sure as hell wasn’t Jaun “please god trade him” Rivera.

Rev Halofan - August 28, 2010
Bad night to nitpick.
But I’m pretty sure you meant to put “Angels dessert Scott Kazmir”
halofan4life - August 28, 2010
Can we have a cherry on the top?
I like desserts, especially ice cream. However, eating a dessert in the middle of the desert might leave you feeling DESERTED … which is what the Angels did to Scott Kazmir. They deserted him.
Downing Rules - August 28, 2010
Google is my friend
my bad
halofan4life - August 28, 2010
I am your friend, too...
that’s why I concocted that nifty tale of ice cream and sand for you.
Downing Rules - August 28, 2010
I don't like sand.
It’s rough and coarse and irritating, and it gets everywhere.
I like ice cream, though. Ice cream is (mostly) smooth.
Clutch - August 28, 2010
It took 4 years.I had ice cream tonight that was dry.
Very disappointing.
halofan4life - August 29, 2010
strike the 4 years part.
halofan4life - August 29, 2010
So in the last 2 days we scored one run off the Orioles and it came on a balk?
hauldog - August 28, 2010
Bourjous
is the only reason I watch.
What the hell happened to these guys? Even with a “little” effort they should be able to beat the O’s.

Shutout by Kevin Millwood?
Awesome.

Goodfellas reference.

It will warm my heart to see Brian Fuentes give up a game tying homer to Robinson Cano in this year's ALDS.

I would like to create another account just to be able to “REC” it for a second time.
Downing Rules - August 28, 2010
this should be good !
BigBangRobbDawgg - August 28, 2010
Sell, sell, sell
Losing a home series to the worst team in the AL East is a Clue that the Angels have given up.
Sell everything with value, look for ways to rebuild for 2012 (that is not a typo).
scareduck - August 28, 2010
Blame Brandon Wood
Downing Rules - August 28, 2010
This team is lousy...
I can’t wait until Diamond Club seats are down in the $25 range. I am so there.
Downing Rules - August 28, 2010
Also, Kaz was JOBBED by the poor defense...
the batter prior to the 2-run homerun got on base because of a bobble by Aybar.
Napoli was way too far off the bag to help Kaz during that weak grounder.
Kaz, though, was quite unprofessional seething visibly to TV viewers in the dugout while waiting to see if his inherited runners were going to score. Shook his head in disgust when the inning was over. I was trying to figure out to whom he was flashing the stinkeye … either Aybar or Napoli? Couldn’t tell.
Downing Rules - August 28, 2010
Hilarity in the field
When Wilson threw out that base runner I almost threw my panda express in the air, what with the shock and all, but he more than made up for it by skipping two into the outfield. The Naps/Kaz teamup speaks for itself. Congrats to Pete and Bobby for hitting the ball a combined 100 feet from the plate in 3AB’s w/RISP. Those popouts almost got to the infield dirt. Way to go! At least Pete had another solid catch and loved the hustle on the 2 bagged.
aces666high - August 28, 2010
And what right does Kaz have to do that?
Why with his ERA over 6.00 coming off a start a few weeks ago where he gave up 13 ER. Kaz should shut the hell up and try to figure out his career.
hk47 - August 29, 2010
No right whatsoever...

At the game tonight
The most exciting thing from tonights game is the entire family got candy jars. Even the players are done. At one point one if our relievers was putting balls w/a bat.

Entire family?
Mom and dad must be under 18, eh? That was a kiddies-only giveaway 666.

And drunk idiot wearing his hat sideways broke his as he tripped over a toyota camry as everyone was filing out into the parking lot. Gotta watch out for those camrys.
aces666high - August 28, 2010
Well, I've gotten through all 7 stages of grief with this disaster of a season by the Angels
I’m now in the “acceptance” mode. At peace with the reality that this is a team that doesn’t have the tools, and at this point the heart, to make any kind of run other than to just run out the clock on the season and go home and wonder what massive off-season changes await them.
Occasionally they are going to give us a game that makes us think they still have some life in them, but they always come back by the next game and show that is was merely involuntary nervous convulsions shuddering through the dying body of a team.
Games like today are about all we can expect for a team so woefully lacking in offensive, defensive and baserunning tools. But it’s nice to be at the point where I don’t expect much and see wins as more a happy “surprise”. I just feel sorry for the starters who pretty much get zero support.
RedHatHalo - August 28, 2010
Can't post a Fan Shot due to mobile HH but,
According to hardball talk, Mike Napoli has been claimed off waivers…

Damn
maybe its the Rays and they’ll give us Longoria, Crawford, Garza, and Soriano

Now it's just depressing bcuz we've officially given up.
Even tho I’d like to think otherwise…

First time parent?
Congratulations.

Thanks.
Yea. 8-5-10.
maze88 - August 28, 2010 via mobile
Double congrats.
Invest in coffee. Or energy shots.
halofan4life - August 28, 2010
Surprisingly
I have not had a taste if coffee or energy drinks of any sort thus far. Let’s see how far I go without it. Lol
maze88 - August 28, 2010 via mobile
It took 4 years.
But I finally broke down. Those 5 hour extreme energy shots are the only thing that keep me moving at work.
halofan4life - August 28, 2010
I've only taken those when I drive to CA and they work.
The lab I work in is also a weight loss clinic so I’m taking some B12 and phentermine pills, that’s what keeps me going without a doubt.
maze88 - August 28, 2010 via mobile
I'm guessing he'll be pulled back. Even if the Angels are looking to trade him, they would be better off waiting until the offseason.
Right now they can only trade with that one team, during the offseason they can trade with anyone
~MMP~ - August 28, 2010
Son of a b.........
norcaliangelsfan - August 28, 2010
Depressing
halofan4life - August 28, 2010
I wouldn't say it's depressing until we know for sure Napoli is being traded
~MMP~ - August 28, 2010
if Napoli*
~MMP~ - August 28, 2010
One of those years then I guess.
I’m expecting bad news. Because Naps will get us a decent prospect, but not some top tier prospect.
halofan4life - August 28, 2010
the best part of tonights game was seeing Kobe Bryant
Angels_48 - August 28, 2010
don't forget getting the candy jar.
That was pretty cool. But seeing Kobe was nice.
I’m NOT happy about the Napoli claimed off waivers “rumor”…if this happens it tells me we’re selling the farm (oh except they keep Mathis and he’ll just keep doing NOTHING)
angelsfan7 - August 28, 2010
Selling the farm?
This is replenishing the farm bro
Halos2011champs - August 28, 2010 via mobile
any idea where he was seated?
i was snapping random photos way in right… playing Where’s Kobe on my RAW files sounds like good fun
clover_black - August 28, 2010
my guess
section closest to diamond club without being in diamond club, Angels dugout side, 1st row with two chicks next to him in the aisle, so seat three.
Rev Halofan - August 28, 2010
Uggg. I thought that was the worst part
of a really bad game.
LanaBanana - August 29, 2010
In any loss the rest of the year in which Juan Rivera plays
He should be BOTG.
You can’t blame a number 9 hitter who actually got a hit in this game.
Or Howie, who’s been the best player on the team in August.
How about Shitsui and his 0-4?
Mostly, lazy Juan Rivera, who should be dealt to any team dumb enough to claim him on waivers. I wouldn’t care if we got anything but cash in return. Prospect? Even better. Put someone with a decent batting average who gives a crap out there- like Reggie Willits.
