1) Mike Trout - The clear number one.
2) Peter Bourjos - Speed, athleticism and defense. Be patient with the bat.
3) Hank Conger - On track to be a solid all-around player and potential allstar at a premium position.
4) Trevor Reckling - Sure he hit a wall in AAA, but the guy's only been able to (legally) drown his sorrows for a couple of months and he's still competently getting AA hitters out.
5) Mark Trumbo - Chicks and Angels fans dig the long ball. Is his 2010 progress for real? The wisdom of crowds (and his K/BB ratio) says it is.
6) Tyler Chatwood - His fastball/curveball combo carved up California League hitters, and are getting the job done in AA. He's come as far this season as any prospect not named Trout.
7) Garrett Richards - He's all about upside, owning four potentially plus pitches with solid control. Will the command follow?
8) Fabio Martinez-Mesa - Plus fastball, plus slider, zero control. He's a wild card prospect who could go in any number of directions.
9) Alexia Amarista - Defensive whiz and little giant with the bat.
10) ???
So will our tenth most promising prospect be? Jean Segura, who stole his 40th base of the season last week and was voted best defensive second baseman in the league? Randal Grichuk, who's back to bashing extra base hits in the Midwest League? Or Mike Kohn, who will most likely still have prospect status at the end of 2010? Or Jordan Walden, owner of the Texas League's best fastball?

Give me Segura...
Great “D”, Walks almost as much as he K’s. and has an 82% success rate when swiping bags.

Shouldn't the title be "Who's #10?"
I have to go with Jean Segura

Mike Kohn. He's the closest to being Major League ready
And of all the players listed here, was the most dominant at his position.

Lacks the upside but I'm a fan of his. Both he ad Lopez could carve out roles eventually.

Walden was throwing 97-100 when I saw him pitch in SLC.
That just impressed the hell out of me, I vote for him, although Kohn and Segura are also very good.
