Mariners help the Angels make it look easy. Angels win 9-4.

WUH-WUH-WUH-WHAAAAAAAAAT !!!
Wow. Never thought I would ever see that posted on this site. Didn’t get to see the game because of the need for bacon. But I see that "the Q’ even had groupies in Seattle by the looks of that pic up above.
eyespy - June 6, 2010
Kaz will go 8 tomorrow in Oaktown.
Naps for panther.
SenorChuckles - June 6, 2010
Fangraphs has Napoli at .399 WPA
He’s definitely the Panther.
Slyintine - June 6, 2010
Napoli was the best player in the game
But considering expectations, Q surprised me the most. He’s gets my panther vote for pure entertainment value. Not just the 3 hits, but a nice running catch on a foul pop.
RallyMonkey5 - June 6, 2010
44FAN - June 6, 2010
Pretty gross
Slyintine - June 6, 2010
But funny
(I likey gothic humor)
Raaddad - June 6, 2010
Sorry, you will just never get WiHaloFan candy corn from me.
44FAN - June 6, 2010
You CANNOT be serious
Q for Panther. Put it in the poll.
mattwelch - June 6, 2010
thank god we escaped with a sweep of the M's
Perennial AL West Division Winners.
Can’t wait for the predictions next year.

~MMP~ - June 6, 2010
dam and A's won twins couldnt sweep the A's
aldo H - June 6, 2010
ignore the percentage
We have the most wins
OCangels - June 6, 2010
Were ready to spank the A's
aldo H - June 6, 2010
Q
There is no doubt
Went above what was expected from him both on offense & defense
Seik1177 - June 6, 2010
The foul catch by the tarps alone should get him the Panther award.
44FAN - June 6, 2010
100% agree
angelsfan7 - June 6, 2010
We have proven there are three things on this team we don't need.
Dead weight, if you will:
Mike Scioscia
Kendry Morales
Mark Gubicza.
Let the rebuilding begin around Ron Roenicke, Robb Quinlan, and Mark Langston.
bc56274 - June 6, 2010
Langston was too much of a mouthy bitch. His obsessiveness was getting annoying.
44FAN - June 6, 2010
he puts himself above the game.
SenorChuckles - June 6, 2010
Rec'd!
For creative use of ‘mouthy bitch’!

I voted other... I gave it to Q cause he needed it.
angelsfan7 - June 6, 2010
Voting Q for Panther does nothing but guarantee him more starts at 1B.
I voted for Side Salad. Tough to vote against 4-5 with the HR that gave us the lead.
b0rd3rline - June 6, 2010
Missed the game...
Killer post game report.
Thanks
Funke5ive - June 6, 2010 via mobile
So did I, but according to the box score and comments here, I assume the following happened:
Naps was his usual self.
Pinata was his usual self.
Someone drugged Albert Pujols, transported him to Safeco, taped his mouth shut, dressed him in a Quinlan jersey, pointed a gun at him, told him to act natural and sent him out in the field.
snowhor - June 6, 2010 via mobile
Yeah for Rolbert Quinjols
eyespy - June 6, 2010
Isn't a series like this always the death of the Mariners season.
Us sweeping them in their house while drinking all their coffee. True it was later in the season usually.
eyespy - June 6, 2010
we drink their milkshakes
we drink them all up
teopeht - June 6, 2010
+1
Brody - June 6, 2010
+10
Raaddad - June 7, 2010
No, now they are saying at LL it is the next series with Texas that will decide their season.
They are not about to give the Angels credit for sweeping them in the series and have it mean anything to them. The best part was Matthew (see photo above) using his stats to show that the Mariners had the overall edge over the Angels in this past series in his “Angels vs. Mariners Series Preview” he did. What a joke.
44FAN - June 6, 2010
CREDIT !!!
We don’t need no stinkin’ credit.

blochead - June 6, 2010
I'm telling you that movie is smurf porn
red floyd - June 6, 2010
Not to mention the fact that Cameron ripped off Dances w/ Wolves.
3rd Echelon - June 6, 2010
I thought it was sort of a clever revisioning of DwW, actually
like Shakespeare did with Hamlet, Macbeth, and all of his comedies, tragedies and histories. Borrowing from earlier sources.
There’s even a little of the Tragedy of Coriolanus in Avatar, methinks.
Raaddad - June 7, 2010
I voted for Naps but Q probably deserved co-panther
And in Q’s honor after the game I had a barbe-Q.
Fred Fredrix - June 6, 2010
TIP OF THE HAT
But thanks to the revolutionary new front office, the Mariners can proudly claim progress; after 56 games the 2010 Mariners have a record of 22-34.

the karate kid remake really pisses me off
more than the Auto-Tuned NBA commercials.
clover_black - June 6, 2010
yeah me too
HalosFanInNorCal - June 6, 2010
along with the Karate Kid and A-Team remakes
Hollywood should also do remakes of Knight Rider and Airwolf
HalosFanInNorCal - June 6, 2010
I give A-Team a pass.
It was a tv show that had never been translated to the silver screen… The karate kid though…
A 12 year old with corn rows… GTFO!
Produced (shoved down our throats) by the fresh prince of bel air? WHYYYYYYYY
….
airwolf was the shit though

fuckin’ hollywood faglios are going to do american remakes of The Host and Let the Right One in.
SenorChuckles - June 6, 2010
Let The Right One In was complete and utter trash.
The Host I wouldn’t mind seeing remade
clover_black - June 6, 2010
let the right one in was great
but i didn’t like the host as much as i hoped i would.
daze - June 6, 2010
The Host was great, Korean cinema pwns american.
SenorChuckles - June 6, 2010
why didn’t you like it?
SenorChuckles - June 6, 2010
KK remake is so wrong, but I'm so going to see it anyway.
AlanFalcon - June 6, 2010
And that's exactly why wrong thing will continue to happen.
snowhor - June 7, 2010 via mobile
It's not so wrong in the way that Alice in Wonderland's fake 3D was so wrong.
I feel that this film embraced its so wrongness, by changing everything about the original story while having playful homages such as the fly swatter scene and the “take the jacket off, now put it on again” nonsense. This doesn’t seem like money grabbing at the expense of the consumer — if you don’t know exactly what you’re getting with this movie after seeing the preview, then you’re just a bad consumer.
AlanFalcon - June 7, 2010
I always love
when Ms fans always say they’re gonna win because they have Felix, Lee, Figgy, and Ichiro. There are so many people predicting the Ms win the AL West its not funny. There’s a better chance of the Os winning the AL East.
phoenix15 - June 6, 2010
Gotta say
as bad as MLB fans think officiating can be, watching an NBA game is excruciating.
Subjective calls that dictate the pace, tempo of a game, the MLB will NEVER have to deal with that. Shitty calls yeas, but collective negligence for 48 minutes, no.
clover_black - June 6, 2010
that was a bad call
they wasted about 5 min. trying to see if Gasol touched the ball (instant replay clearly shows he didn’t) and they still don’t overturn the call. At least MLB umps have the excuse of “I dont have instant replay so humans make mistakes”
phoenix15 - June 6, 2010
I didn't get a home court advantage sense of the officiating this time
Doesn’t bode well for the next 3 games when you know the Celtics will get a huge advantage
Raaddad - June 6, 2010
I got a Broadcasters advantage to the officiating in this last game.
milking the only thing they got. That’s EaSbPcN for you.
eyespy - June 6, 2010
Oh the horror, the Lakers lost on little game.
Probably to just extend the series and expand advertising revenues, then in dramatic fashion the Lakers win in the end by a a Kobe three pointer.
