With Morales going down, everyone all of a sudden woke up and realized that they have to get their crap together.

Kinda like a when a kid in school cheats off of the smart kid and then all of a sudden the smart kid moves away, so kid number one realizes “F@#k, i’m going to fail if I don’t start doing stuff on my own”

Then the bully of the class (Fuentes), jacks his homework and makes a paper plane out of it only to fly it out of the class window.

We a are 4-1 since his injury. You can’t argue with those results.

Kendry obviously was an albatross. We should DFA him now. Get him off this team and let someone else pick up the tab for medical bills and rehab.

WILL be the highest bidder. Per the NBA collective bargaining agreement. Cleveland can offer more than anyone else (I think by offering one more year; I forget the details). The point being, the player’s current team is given a leg up on all other bidders.

I mean logistically, sure. But wouldn’t the team’s management get lynched by the fans, regardless of who they got, and regardless of whether LeBron had refused to resign?

I’m not a huge fan of the basketball pay system. What parity has it brought to the league when you have Boston and LA showing up in the finals all the time anyway?

Yeah, that was messed up.

And Kendall was being very professional about his complaining. Never took off his mask, never faced the ump, and stayed in a crouch (which, I’m sure, body language analysts would say “indicates an act of submission to authority” or some crap).

Some things you can't say to an umps face.

Kendall probably said one of those things, and the ump was challenging him to say it to his face. There has to be a lot of tension on the boys in blue these days, and it seems the young one can’t handle it.

Handle it or quit.

I’ve seen LL umps handle it better than that. Seriously, there was this guy named Brian that used to ump my brothers and my Pony League games. One time, this kid was livid, in his face, yelling about how he didn’t swing on a check swing, and Brian the Ump said in a totally calm voice, “Kid, you tried real hard, but you still stink.” It was hilarious, and my family still quotes it to this day.

We still won, and have gotten back to .500. Everyone take a sip of your Soth-ade and repeat after him, “One game at a time. One game at a time.”

I did like that Sosh got Frankie2.0 up in the pen while Foo Foo was stinkin it up. That’s at least the second time I’ve seen that happen. Sosh has changed in that regard. In previous years, he was ALWAYS do-or-die with the closers. Then again, that was with Percy or K-Rod, not Foo Foo. But in K-Rod’s last season, there were some games where I was infuriated with Sosh because Frankie obviously didn’t have his best stuff, and yet Sosh refused to take him out. So, it’s nice to see that at least Sosh is threatening to bring the hook, and not living and dying by the “roles” these ass-clowns in our pen have been assigned.

Sorry, but in this case it is deserved.

It is broke, fix it. Get that pen all shook up and have them be responsible for their acts on the field. Have them take the blame as a whole for any mistake any other makes on the field. Make them call their own fouls, and then fix them.

Sosh is obviously
just using Fuentes before the ASG just to not tire Rodney’s arm out. Then once in late Aug.-Oct. Sosh is gonna use Rodney to keep dominating hitters. We all see what Rodney can do in his natural spot, as a closer. In 5 tries, he saves 5 times while the opponent got only 1 hit off him, also no walks.

so he already made plans for that week, and doesn’t want to cancel them. He’s playing like shit during the first half to guarantee that he won’t be picked, but will pick it up in the week after that game.
