while the republican congressman from Texas, Joe Barton, claims the Obama administration is “shaking down” BP for holding them accountable for the worst environmental disaster in the history of our country.

6A.
Give him credit for at least being more honest than most politicians about where his loyalties lie.
6B. Be thankful for Constitution.

I think Barton's "honesty" and loyalty had more to do with the $27,350 in campaign contributions
he has received from BP as ranking member on the House Energy Committee.

NBA Championship Game 7 was still a distant 2nd
to a mid-season, seemingly insignificant Angels game to me. If it had not been an off-day for the Angels, I would’ve still watched them instead of the basketball game. That is how much more I love baseball compared to other sports.

Watch World Cup Soccer. Say what you want about not being a fan or whatever. Those players and those fans care so much about that game, it puts baseball to shame. I’m a fan of soccer once every few years when the World Cup happens.
It’s just like the Olympics. American care about gymnastics, swimming and even figure skating once every few years.
