Wonder why
Sosh didn’t pull PInerio sooner? IMO i think its pretty weird when a sinkerball pitcher gets more flyball outs then groundball outs. I would’ve pulled him for Bell or Bulger in the 5th inning.
Maybe
that’s why Torii keeps getting his gold gloves. Abreu and Rivera are so slow in the OF and since Torii makes them all, he seems more spectacular?
just cause he couldn’t get u-haul to stay, that doesn’t mean that he has been a bad player for the team. it just means that the team was fortunate… we’ve got Kendry, even though he is hurt..
Statistically Q
has been negatively influencing this team. I think Willis is more valuable then Q because of Reggie’s speed and his ability to lay down a perfect bunt. I also have yet to see Q’s “gold glove” caliber defense. He made routine plays that Ryan and Napoli would most likely have made.
that this game does not define the entire month of June. The Halos need to keep up the momentum that they started i may (even with the tragic loss of KowBell.
until Wood, or Naps, or someone else fills the spot. Hell, Q isn’t a great fielder regardless of the position that he plays. he is a (sometimes) decent situatinoal hitter though. Maybe that is why Soch likes him?
Maybe
he was a situational hitter, but I still haven’t see a hit from him this year. I would rather take Glaus as the new 1st baseman no matter how injury prone or short ranged he is. At least Glaus more then makes up with his power. Q is the last ditch utility man, not a starter.

Yeah, but "we" is short for Weaver.
opiejeanne - June 1, 2010
but..
Weave is he staff ace. He knows that he needs to step up.
HalosFanInNorCal - June 1, 2010
G-baby vs Weav on thursday.
SenorChuckles - June 1, 2010
Oh shit, forgot it was four games
well, we better take 3 of 4 or I’ll be pissed.
Caseys Kiss of Death - June 1, 2010
G-baby never has any run support, the dudes 1-3 lifetime against Angels.
I think we take 3 or 4
SenorChuckles - June 1, 2010
of.
opiejeanne - June 1, 2010
thank you.
SenorChuckles - June 1, 2010
How many times tonight
has Pineiro laid a meatball in there while ahead in the count?
Jesus!
tolbs1010 - June 1, 2010
Did he point at Sosh?
grahams98 - June 1, 2010
So Soth is willing to let Pinero give up TWO homers in the 8th inning????
MH252525 - June 1, 2010
you think the first one would end his night.
MH252525 - June 1, 2010
anytime a hated former player does something like that
it is karma for all you bad ways … just gotta be our bad karma
Rev Halofan - June 1, 2010
i apologize
to everyone for cutting off those mattress tags
tolbs1010 - June 1, 2010
So, it was you!
opiejeanne - June 1, 2010
not over yet peeple
Fred Fredrix - June 1, 2010
yes it is
unless the Royals traded for Aarsdma before this game.
phoenix15 - June 1, 2010
BOTG
Soth for thinking Q is a ML player.
MH252525 - June 1, 2010
He wanted to make Q feel as if he’s not worthless on a ML team. Statistically, he is.
phoenix15 - June 1, 2010
rofls.
it’s his good looks?
SenorChuckles - June 1, 2010
He is...
if ML stands for Minor League. Could be a star in Moose Jaw
grahams98 - June 1, 2010
Pineiro does wonders for the opposing team's batting average
Suboptimal - June 1, 2010
Let's trade him to the Rangers
TheKingfish - June 1, 2010
Wow, 68 mph?
mattwelch - June 1, 2010
wow
KC’s field is just about as empty as the A’s..
HalosFanInNorCal - June 1, 2010
Their popularity is just more selective
RexTookMyStash - June 1, 2010
Man, that's nasty
KC should just trade Greinke and Soria. They could restock the farm in an instant.
Suboptimal - June 1, 2010
I think they will have to eventually
I mean the Royals won’t be competitive b4 they reach FA
MH252525 - June 1, 2010
oh well
Fred Fredrix - June 1, 2010
Well that was failure
TheKingfish - June 1, 2010
Even though the Angels weren't going to win
it still hurts to see the game end on a pitch 8 inches off the corner with that said.
#%
#%# Soth, how about you play real #%@%# players…………MH252525 - June 1, 2010
Nap
2 strikes and looking for?
grahams98 - June 1, 2010
The question now is , Will Q start again tomorrow ?
Ed@northridge - June 1, 2010
Automatic
2 game losing streak right there
phoenix15 - June 1, 2010
probably...
he played well he just didn’t hit well (or at all)
angelsfan7 - June 1, 2010
his “gold glove” defense is comparable to what Ryan did. but Ryan had a hit yesterday.
phoenix15 - June 1, 2010
Well, there's always tomorrow
~MMP~ - June 1, 2010
thats twice where Napoli sits and takes a called strike.
SenorChuckles - June 1, 2010
not his fault really when
the pitch’s a couple inches off the strike zone.
phoenix15 - June 1, 2010
have to keep fighting it off though.
SenorChuckles - June 1, 2010
probably would’ve swung and missed
only guy that might’ve fouled that is Vlad and Ichiro
phoenix15 - June 1, 2010
only one big problem with that...
the ump has called that all game and he was our catcher
grahams98 - June 1, 2010
Just because
he knows where it’s gonna land, doesn’t necessarily mean he’s gonna hit it.
phoenix15 - June 1, 2010
that pitch was like 95 and WELL off the corner
how easy do you think it is to just foul it off….
MH252525 - June 1, 2010
never said it was easy.
SenorChuckles - June 1, 2010
that's why you just take it and hope the ump
correctly calls it a ball
MH252525 - June 1, 2010
Vlad
might’ve hit that one outta the park, but Nap’s no Vlad.
phoenix15 - June 1, 2010
Vlad hit crap pitches by crap pitchers for homeruns
Not pitchers’ pitches by All-Star pitchers.
MH252525 - June 1, 2010
but that late in the game?
maybe the ump wants to go home.
SenorChuckles - June 1, 2010
can't blame him for that one
he would need a fruit picker to even touch it
MH252525 - June 1, 2010
Should I feel bad about chuckling about the guy who has the last name Kuntz?
~MMP~ - June 1, 2010
I went to law school with Karl Kuntz
we chuckle and he’s doing pretty well now
don’t know how his sister made out tho
Moondoggy - June 1, 2010
I like how the Angels were fighting to get back to 500
after being way beneath not all that long ago and Soth starts Q….. aye carumba
MH252525 - June 1, 2010
Statistically Q
has been negatively influencing this team. I think Willis is more valuable then Q because of Reggie’s speed and his ability to lay down a perfect bunt. I also have yet to see Q’s “gold glove” caliber defense. He made routine plays that Ryan and Napoli would most likely have made.
phoenix15 - June 1, 2010
who said Q is gold glove calibur?
and I agree, Willits at least brings a skill set to the table. Q brings NOTHING except a big plate to take away abs from more deserving players.
MH252525 - June 1, 2010
Let's all hope
that this game does not define the entire month of June. The Halos need to keep up the momentum that they started i may (even with the tragic loss of KowBell.
GO ANGELS!!!!!
HalosFanInNorCal - June 1, 2010
Hard to do
with Q as your starting 1st baseman. Maybe Ryan or Naps
phoenix15 - June 1, 2010
I think that Q is a part of the 1b merry-go-round
until Wood, or Naps, or someone else fills the spot. Hell, Q isn’t a great fielder regardless of the position that he plays. he is a (sometimes) decent situatinoal hitter though. Maybe that is why Soch likes him?
HalosFanInNorCal - June 1, 2010
Maybe
he was a situational hitter, but I still haven’t see a hit from him this year. I would rather take Glaus as the new 1st baseman no matter how injury prone or short ranged he is. At least Glaus more then makes up with his power. Q is the last ditch utility man, not a starter.
phoenix15 - June 1, 2010
replace sometimes
with 4 years ago and that about sums it up.
645 OPS in AAA.
AAA!
