The Angels are playing the Mariners in this next series and they really are a worse team!
The Angels still have the ability to score runs and the Mariners do not. Rev Halofan has the lead photo of Angels players standing in the dugout. Jeff Sullivan from Lookout Landing has a lead photo of a cemetery representing the Mariners. Milton Bradley is still on cu-koo leave and their depth due to injuries is thinner than Ichiro’s waist line.
I don't see any of those having much of an impact here. I'm not sold on Reckling's ability to pitch in the majors right now, and Aldridge and Frandsen are backups.

Bullpen is awful, rotation can stick in games, offense is worthless. Does our depth in AAA and AA have enough to fix it this year? No, so we’re just gonna have to make due with what we have.
On a much brighter note, bullpen troubles? Walden, Kohn and Thompson can help. Rotation floundering? Reckling’s only a phone call away. Sure he’ll walk 5 batters in 6 innings, he’ll also limit the opposing team to 3 runs. Need offense? Trumbo’s numbers are looking inflated and good in AAA, Bourjos=lightening, Conger’s our catcher of the future and Ryan, Alridge, Frandsen and Evans are all hungry.
We’ll be fine once Rivera and Matsui start hitting again, and Bulger, Kaz and Saunders figure it out.
Palmer never should have been brought in in the 6th with the bases loaded
It shoulda been Rodney, he pitched in the 8th anyway, why not use him earlier when it matters? But no, he’s the 8th inning guy, he must pitch the 8th regardless of the game situation.
Our defense at 2b and 3b is atrocious (the OF isn’t much better) and I think that’s the biggest problem. Quite a contrast between the smooth fielding of Beltre and Ratface to the blunders of Wood and Howie.
doubt if the angels loose this series to the Mariners. This team suck period. never have ive seend worst baseball then im seeing now from any angels team. we lucky that the orioles suck, or else we would be the worst team.
I think
we should bring up Reckling and send Saunders to the Pen. Send Palmer to AAA.

You are so right about Palmer/Rodney usage
Relievers should be used based on high leverage/low leverage situation, not what inning it is.
This is the main thing that bothers me about the way Scioscia manages.
