Troy Percival on Scott Kazmir: Stop Trying

So in this 45-second audio clip that is a must listen for all Angels fans, AM 830's Jeff Biggs has the opportunity to ask Troy Percival about the Angels lefty Scot Kazmir. Ever the professional, Biggsy predicates his question by noting that Kazmir's lack of success is not reflection on his effort and describes the many ways that Kaz is trying to get back on track.

Percival's answer is in the form of sage advice that mimics some of recent history's most popular philosophers:

DIG THIS AUDIO FILE: Troy Percival on Scott Kazmir's Approach

Ya know that feeling when you are looking at the past and suddenly you realize that you're looking at the future? Yeah...

Thanks as always to the production crew and on-air talent at KLAA.

Percy's a genius,

a pure genuis.

And that's not because he, you know, scares me, or anything *shifty eyes*
Don't mess with this man

Troy Percival

doesn’t fuck around.

(May F-Bomb used)

Very wise words..

From the IE’s very own. Damn I miss Percy.

Maybe the Angels will really think
to make Percy they next pitching coach.

I’ll bet Percival is just pissed because he has Kazmir on his fantasy team!

(joke … we all know Percy’s feeling about fantasy teams!)

Percy for coach

Or else hire Yoda.

QUESTION: Can Percy coach starters?

SECOND QUESTION: How do we know Butch isnt saying the exact same thing?

Quote:
“Managers and coaches often get too much credit and too much blame,” said Randy Wolf, who last season led the National League in starts and posted his best earned-run average in seven seasons under Honeycutt before signing as a free agent with the Brewers. “I’ll never blame a pitching coach because I’m almost positive a pitching coach has never thrown a pitch for me.”

Linkie

"Predicates"...

… probably isn’t the word you want to use there. I’m thinking… “qualifies”?
