Fuentes is our guy, he’s just going to need a few outings to get his rhythm back … i love when closers with weak trash stuff rehab in the 9th of a 1 run game with the big club.
WOW Funetes. WTF. The bloop single was more luck, but the 3-2 pitch to Cabrera was just fail. Sosh just needs Fuentes for leftys ONLY. Same thing with A-Rod in the ALCS. Maybe that’s why Fuentes was decent with his save against the Twins. Whenever Fuentes’s closing, we need Rodney warming up and ready to go just in case.
I was getting pretty tired of those relatively clean games. I mean, if the bullpen doesn’t blow it, it’s not nearly as fun! GREAT to see were getting back to Angels Baseball.

Closing Fail right there. Rodney pitched 5 straight and got 13 straight outs, 1 single, then 2 outs. No walks. Fuentes gives up the tying HR, walks 1, then gets singled. Sosh needs Rodney to warm up right besides Fuentes, so at worst, its a tie game.
There is a bright side; no matter how badly Fuentes pitches this year
He is guaranteed to be paid $9 million.
Now who can argue with that?
I think we can all feel a great deal of pride and truly feel that is $9 million well spent.
Why, Fuentes can blow 10 more games and I know all of us will feel satisfaction in knowing that he will be paid

Closing Fail right there. Rodney pitched 5 straight and got 13 straight outs, 1 single, then 2 outs. No walks. Fuentes gives up the tying HR, walks 1, then gets singled. Sosh needs Rodney to warm up right besides Fuentes, so at worst, its a tie game.
