So it rained in Southern California Saturday and the clouds moseyed on over to Tempe Arizona today, canceling the Angels game against the Athletics and postponing the Spring debut of Hideki Matsui (松井秀喜). Nobody cares about the A's, all they care about is the Angels and Godzilla and maybe not even in that order.

of all the dudes on the bubble,
Stokes has looked the best so far. His 2 innings were pretty much lights out.
Evans had a nice rbi hit I believe.

Curious
Does Matsui ever speak any English to the media, or is he like Vlad in that way too: he can speak it but chooses not to in public, relying on interpreters (in his case his “sidekick-interpreter,” Roger Kahlon). Shall we assume that Kahlon will be joining him on the field for the many post-game interviews with Mr. Mota celebrating yet another glorious Godzilla-infused Halo win?
