At the end of the month, I’m taking my younger daughter college touring up in Mariners-land.

We’ll have about a half-day. What (non-baseball — gasp!) stuff should we try to see?

the obvious sights are...

Pike Place Market, the waterfront, space needle, EMP, Seattle Center, etc…

With only a half day you have to confine yourself to downtown stuff….

Funny... if the team is winning in ST...

…it’s not as a big of a deal, but not even having the lead once in a game so far is still meaningless, but doesn’t sit right at all.

single, walk to Mcpherson, bunt single, groundout + error while trying to turn the DP (1 out), K (2 out), fly out to CF (3 out).

so basically, 2 runs scored on a groundout + an error.

Well yeah, it's a mish mash of shtye...

…and pitching is always the weakest link since both teams are parading them in and out.

But bats are still bats. Waiting for ours to come ALIVE! LETS GO!

And the errors have been bad...

…but that was a nice DP even if not a starter ;P

our guys need to really need to start focusing on fundamentals this early in ST, both offensively and defensively.

The DP that Amarista and Statia turned yesterday was SICK, but other than that, our infield needs to get on top of their D pretty soon here..

we still haven’t had a lead yet in ST.

today’s positives: Evans (1-3 with a 2B); Conger (1-1 with a BB and ringing oppo-2B); Kohn (cleanest inning by far)

today’s negatives: Weaver (1.2 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 1 BB:1 K); Offense as a whole (2 R on 7 H, only 1 XB hit); Defense, especially Howie (3 errors, another one from HK47)

At least we wounded one of theirs today.
