On Saturday, Mr. Brennan brought a St. Baldrick's Foundation "Shaving our Way to Conquer Kids Cancer" event to Throwbacks Bar, a stone's throw from Angels Stadium. Over two dozen heads were shaved, including radio host Jeff Biggs and blogger Eric Denton. A raffle of great Angels prizes included tickets to Angels games in April and a silent auction featured a Robb Quinlan street banner that actually got a bid.
Brennan is closing in on his goal of raising $10,000 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation and I can happily report that the Throwbacks Pastrami Burger was superior to all food I have ever had at Angels stadium and that is counting the Diamond Club. I know where I am going to eat before home games this season.

The best part about
going to Throwbacks before the game is not only the food, but the bus ride so you don’t have to pay to park at the Stadium. Spend the parking money on a burger, and take the bus—less traffic, better food.

Quick question...
Would this be an OK place to take teenage boys for a pre-game meal? I have never been there and I didn’t want to go and then find out it was a 21 and over place.

Throwbacks is VERY cool and as pattimelt said, the best part is the bus ride to and from the games.

How does the Throwbacks bus work?
Having to fight the East LA Interchange (coming from Simi) every time is a pain, so I was thinking about leaving early, and hanging at Throwbacks?
I can figure out getting there, how does it work for leaving the stadium?

first bunch to leave TB for the stadium is the hardcore fan base
2nd bunch and 3rd bunch are regular fans
4th bunch is the hardcore drinkers
