The Angels new 2010 designated hitter (and occasional outfielder) Hideki Matsui walked onto the practice field in Tempe Arizona today wearing Red. There was not a pinstripe visible anywhere on his person. The media from his home country, Japan, was well-behaved as it asked him questions that were not the type one would flunk on a test. There was not a workout athletically as the man nicknamed Godzilla instead filmed a commercial on one of the many Tempe practice fields. He is happy to be looking handsome in red.
