I imagine the Sux's new $142 million dollar toy might get a mention somehow
Hopefully that warning label will turn out to be an understatement.

Actually, CC's 2010 playoff numbers:
3-21, .143 BA, 1 RBI, and 4 K’s.
Choking hazard warning viable.
RexTookMyStash - December 14, 2010
Ok I have a question
Why the hell do fans always overvalue their favorite team’s players? Like who the hell would want to trade Callaspo and Mathis for Carlos Quentin. Why do we assume some of our
garbagepremium players like Mathis have value. Thoughts?princeton11loveshalos - December 14, 2010
where is the link?
autry's cowboys - December 14, 2010
nevermind!

It’s “Yes We Can!”
(See poster yeswecan for details)
red floyd - December 14, 2010
It's difficult to compare deals
If Cliff Lee pitches 6 years for the Phillies, he earns $135 million. The Yankees and Rangers offered a guaranteed $138 million for 6. From that perspective he only passed on $3 million. Texas also offered a vesting for $23 million for a seventh year, so you could argue that Lee left $26 on the table.

Stone Roses debut = TITS!
cupie - December 14, 2010
Strangely enough, Primal Scream is one of my favorite bands of all time, but I've never really dug Stone Roses.
Mayheminthehood - December 14, 2010
Xterminator is a tour de force
cupie - December 14, 2010
That's the one, dude. My favorite by them, easy. That record is heavy as F###.
Mayheminthehood - December 14, 2010
cupie is almost always right

Ocean Rain

OK Computer = Fail
Radiohead overrated.
cupie - December 14, 2010
Pretty much. The Bends rules hard...I stopped listening after that.
They were good when they actually wrote some hooks.
Mayheminthehood - December 14, 2010
Wrong
The Bends is a mix between what Radiohead wanted to be and what they thought would sell.
LA Seitz - December 14, 2010
this is the exception to the cupie rule. wrong

album of the year
I don’t care what anyone says. Kanye’s new album is amazing. Album of the year
Runner up goes to The Arrivals “volatile molitav”
Northwest - December 14, 2010 via mobile
Hahaha..."I don't care what anyone says". I haven't heard anything BUT high praise for that album, definitely nota controversial pick.
Mayheminthehood - December 14, 2010
contreversial in that...
… the man get critisized more than his music
Northwest - December 14, 2010 via mobile
Yo Northwest, I'm happy for you and all, but I just have to say that The Arrivals had the best album of all time!
red floyd - December 14, 2010
Does anyone think that Lee approached the Phillies?
cupie - December 14, 2010
Fo sho. First thing I thought of when I saw how much he's going to make.

Marquee Moon is one of the greatest albums of all time. The title song has my favorite guitar solo of all time.
LA Seitz - December 14, 2010
No shit! Jim should be banned stat!
cupie - December 14, 2010
You didn't touch on your favorite albums of the year, man. You have some good taste, so I'd be curious what you'd say.
Mayheminthehood - December 14, 2010

Right on, man. Nice live show list. As far as bands, we have some similar tastes.
You’re super down with Free Energy…ever hear Cheeseburger? I think Free Energy and them are almost the same band.
Mayheminthehood - December 14, 2010
Haven't heard them. I'll have to check them out.
I do love Free Energy, though. Just a lot of fun to listen to.
LA Seitz - December 14, 2010
