Exactly. I read the Wall Street Journal a couple times a week.
I actually like having a hard copy to pick up. I stare at a computer screen all day long, the last thing I’d want is to go home and read the journal on yet, another computer screen. My eyes are watering just thinking about it.
Can you imagine only paying for the shows you actually watch? For people that aren’t glued to the tube, this is $50-$75 more bucks in their pocket that isn’t going to Comcast for Dish TV.
These are the things I think about before I go to sleep. My brain is over-used from classes and then teaching and volunteering and working, so when I think of things like this, it helps me shut my eyes so I can wake up in a couple of hours and do it all over again.
I believe Mike Napoli is our most valuable trade chip at this point. Pretty much the only thing I’m sure of is that this Napoli/Mathis thing is dead. It’s going to be one or the other or none, but not both. I can see Napoli and Conger splitting catcher with Napoli also logging time at DH.
As far as BACK UP 1B…..Kendrick can play there, Rivera can play there, Wood can play there, Trumbo can. That’s the most useless reason to bring back Napoli. And in reference to Matt Welch’s apology about Trumbo, no apology is needed, I’ve been skeptical of the kid all along and I still don’t believe he’s ready to be a major league player yet. He isn’t doing anything in AAA that Wood wasn’t doing.
We used to talk and talk about Wood going down and working on his plate discipline, etc etc. And then for about a month, Wood would have it, and then lose it again. Trumbo gave us about a month of plate discipline and that’s it. HE’s wood all over again.
THANK YOU REV!!!!!!!!!
