This isnt as bad of a signing as you all peg it to be.
Beltre is a pull righty hitter, ideal for the tiny confines of Bawwwwwwwwwston. They also pretty much get an across the board upgrade from Lowell, as Beltre’s defense is probably the best in the league.

Not a big Beltre guy , but that doesn’t mean he won’t perform.. He certainly let the Mariners down in his contract.
How does he get more money then an Abreu who produces year after year with no injuries ???
