1990 was 20 years ago... Joe Carter goes first and Wally Joyner follows him with some good answers, as the Major Leaguers beat the Umpires on a surreal - though very real charity edition - of Family Feud...
fyi - the last half of the video is "promotional considerations" b.s...

Be nice to Ray Combs
He was a very nice guy but a troubled soul, who took his own life many years ago.
George Kaplan - January 15, 2010
Agreed
Combs was likable and one of the better hosts of the Feud.
Richard Karn being the worst. Louie Anderson was terrible too, but in a more entertaining way.
Poor Wally with his early onset balding

Joyner
Especially cruel that he had to stand next to Sutcliffe and his enormous display of hair.
George Kaplan - January 15, 2010
yeah ...
Ray was a good guy troubled with depression. It’s been a while, but RIP Ray.

Carter said Blond....black man's Kryptonite.
What?
Funke5ive - January 15, 2010
i thought that fat chicks were their kryptonite

Crazy stuff
Ray combs was slightly more then troubled, in one of his many suicide attempts, he beat himself in the head with a brick. Ive heard of people killing themselves a lot of crazy ways but that has to be one of the strangest.
SFV88 - January 15, 2010
Even Artie Lange thinks that's crazy.

Was anyone else tempted to answer...
“eat donuts” for the police question?
I’ll bet that was the 80 point answer.
Notice how “arrest people” only had 6 and “saving lives” had 4. Maybe the remaining 10 were “ride motorcycle a la Ponch and John on Chips.” What a terrible view we have of our police.
Downing Rules - January 16, 2010
not necessarily
“chase cars” … “shoot bad guys” all could have been in the mix…
Rev Halofan - January 16, 2010
i was going to say "be on cops"

We love ourselves a little Wally #21
…first favorite player for a lot of us 80’s kids.
Was that Ellis Burks with Sutcliffe, Ozzie, Joe Carter, and Wally?
swiss mcgee - January 16, 2010
Oh yes that was the great ellis burks
Ghost of seven in a row - January 16, 2010
By the way
Who else had that Wally World Nike poster with the Matterhorn behind the Big A? A lot of 80’s awesome right there. What ever happened to those posters?

As for the poll-its Richard Dawson FTW
He even had his own movie playing himself-The Running Man
Killian drinks Cadre Cola
Ghost of seven in a row - January 16, 2010
Hogans Heroes
Dawson was originally cast as Hogan and then got demoted when the network wanted the American Colonel to be played by an American. He despised Bob Crane because of this.
Rev Halofan - January 16, 2010
Another excellent Richard Dawson moment
Ghost of seven in a row - January 16, 2010
Bob Crane for all of his off-camera weirdoness
was a GREAT Hogan. I cannot imagine Richard Dawson even coming close
Moondoggy - January 16, 2010
richard daawson
