The first one was a drop by Aybar, arguably on the transfer, but either way had nothing to do with HK. On the second one, HK did double-clutch, but Aybar still may have had a play at first base.
If Texas was actually playing well right now I'd be far more concerned
but the Angels starting pitching has still been LIGHTS OUT recently. And we at least know the offense has done really well this year so they won’t be doing this bad for very long.
But as for this game, I got a horrible feeling as soon as Figgy had a craptacular ab in the Top half of the inning. He’s as good as they come at getting on base, but damn he sucks at driving guys in.
Screw MLB for giving Posada the same number of days suspension as Carlson. Jorge stuck out his elbow and initiated the whole thing. Not that Carlson should be suspended but if Jorge doesn’t throw out his elbow nothing ever happens.
This game is very encouraging. First, for the first time in weeks, we are scoring runs. Second, and much more importantly, our team is still fighting when everyone could have rolled over after Boston put up that 5-spot last inning.
