Howie Kendrick Trade Value Rockets in 5 RBI Afternoon Angels Win

Final Score in Los Angeles of Anaheim: Angels 9, Indians 3

Star-divide

The Cleveland Indians scored 45 runs in their previous 5 games, but they only managed 1 in 7 innings against Angels starter John Lackey on Wednesday afternoon. Don't blame the buzzkill of reigning Cy Young winner Cliff Lee being traded along with Ben Francisco to the reigning world champion Phillies for prospects. Lackey was sharp after a funny first inning where he hit two batters. The Angels ace mixed in 4 Walks with his 8 strikeouts and only allowed 3 hits.

Angels 2B Howie Kendrick had a 3 for 4 afternoon with 5 RBI, including his 6th HR of the season. When it became apparent that the Angels would not part with Shortstop Erick Aybar at the trade deadline, Kendrick's name has floated to the top of trade talks in volving the Angels. He certainly upped his value on a warm cloudless day in Southern California, where everything looked easy.

Also on Fire was Kendry Morales who had 2 hits, 2 RBI and the only Angels double of the afternoon. It was Kendry's 60th RBi of the season, the ANels 60th Win of the year and put them 3 games ahead of the Rangers pending the oucome of that team's game against Justin Verlander and the Tigers in Arlington tonight.

What a pleasant Wednesday afternoon

and I get to sleep at a reasonable hour tonight. Bonus.

See you Friday night

Nearly a tie in POTG votes.

I like that. Keep ’em even! Co-Panthers!

Mr. Reagins...

You have my permission to trade any one of our three middle infield guys and get us some bullpen help or starting pitching help.

Interesting to note that Brad Penny is getting his head handed to him by the A's.
The Matt-Holiday-deprived A's.

Lol i really dont think gm’s look at a one game at instantly have that guys value shoot up.
If that was true, Aybar would have gone in a straight up trade for halladay when we played the double header with kc.

Totally forgot about the game

But we won! Yeah!

Howie FTW!

showcased?

Good Game......

Now, Only 2 Days until we can all move forward with whatever the Halos have on their roster.

I don't think Howie's going anywhere.

Sure, I could be wrong. I just don’t think he’s going anywhere for anybody.

I really hope not.

I know some feel we need help, but I just don’t feel right about Howie being the guy who leaves.

DET 4 - TEX 0

Middle 2nd

Go Tigers!!

Update top of 7th...Det 12 - Tex 4. Me likey.
Rangers struck out 18 times and walked only once.
If not for a Fuentes meltdown...

…it would have been a 3-game sweep.

Ah well. 60 – 40 gives the Angels the 2nd best record in the AL, 3rd best in MLB. Pretty damn good.

Dodgers and Yankees

62-39, .614

Angels 60-40, .600

looks like the forgotten angels

are sneaking up on the overated and overhyped Doyers and Skankees.

The other Howard rocks!

Let’s hurry up and trade him!

Trade Howie calls are ridiculous...
Gotta go with Lack today
