Bowden and others who worked with him have been subjects of the MLB probe and an FBI investigation into allegations that some scouts had skimmed from signing bonuses given to Latin American players. Bowden recently resigned as Nationals GM as a result.

Logic can be applied to paradox in some situations. The fundamental absence of logic is often the paradox itself.

Technically, it's essentially a version of the Epimenides paradox
Epimenides was a Cretan who once famously said, “All Cretans are liars”.
This paradox is what underlies Godel’s Incompleteness Theorem.
