Final Score in Los Angeles of Anaheim: Angels: 11, Rockies: many fewer
On the day after shaving his head with some mace in the dark, Vladimir Guerrero hit a ball out of the Anaheim Trailer Park and started a flood of runs turning the rubber game of this interleague series into a laugher. It was only Guerrero's 2nd homerun of the season but is a sign of life that he may be back. Vlad also had an RBI double in the 1st inning and later scored that inning.
ALL of Guerrero's RBIs came with TWO OUTS.
Joe Saunders took a shutout into the 7th inning before he surrendered a solo HR and a single to get the hook at 103 pitches. With his 8th win, can Saunders be backing into All Star consideration? If so, he has company with Angels 3Bman Chone Figgins, who was 3 for 4 with a stolen base and scored 3 runs.
The Angels remain tied for 1st Place in the AL West with the Texas Rangers.

A great night to be in the seats
Scored a pair of 227s via StubHub auction for $23.50 and came home with an 11-3 ass whoopin, 2 free Del Tacos, 24 free Hooters Wings, 24 free Claim Jumper wings and 2 free Angels coolers.
Tack on signs of life from the Impaler and an impressive performance from the Col. and it feels pretty good to be a Halos fan right now.

On another note I watched the highlights of Vlad’s double and run scored on Morales’ single, He looks soooooooooooo much better then he has the past couple years. Running without limp, and running with authority. It was very promising.

Panther: Angels dugout
Vlad was soooo pumped when he hit the hr he almost took off the third base coaches hand heading toward home. When he got to the dugout he was pumped and everyone just ignored him and stared straight ahead, solemnly. Vlad was like “WTF.” Then everyone erupted into joyous congrats. Abreu was busting out laughing as were the rest of the crew.
That is by far the most precious moment of the game. Anyone got video on that?
