That wasn't really my point

it’s that we are (or at least should/would be) the better team, and now people are operating under the idea that the Dodgers are one of the best teams in baseball because of the way they finished last year, and because of Manny. What all of them forget is that the Dodgers only even made the playoffs last year because of the retardedness of our playoff formats, not because they’re good. They were tied for the 8th best record in the NL, and finished a hair over .500, and now all of a sudden they’re a celebrated favorite because people would rather overlook that for the sake of a good storyline about some nonsense ‘resurgence.’

The thing is, even if we win this

I’m still going to be incredibly pissed about the present bullpen management (not to even mention the idiots in the bullpen)

Keys to this team winning enough games to make it to .500 by the end of April:

1.) No more using the DH spot as a place for mediocre hitters. Put in someone good or put in Wood. No more Izturis.
2.) Move Kendrick from 2 to 7.
3.) Stop using Scot Shields until he learns what the strike zone is. He may pitch mop-up and nothing else.
4.) Stop putting Arredondo in with runners on base. He can’t handle it now and hasn’t been able to historically, so stop.
5.) Place an emphasis on defensive fundamentals…for example, outfielders running in should always have the advantage over infielders on a bloop fly.
6.) Stop ignoring clear and obvious signs that a pitcher doesn’t have it (leadoff single followed by 4-5 pitch walk)

You know what, forget it, this list is like 30 items long.
