Angels Host E-Waste Recycle Drive SATURDAY

The Angels just e-mailed all of the bloggers with this chance for our readers to help the environment and help yourself to some free Angels tickets!

ANGELS BASEBALL FOUNDATION TO HOLD E-WASTE RECYCLE DRIVE

WHAT: The Angels will celebrate Earth Day by hosting their first Electronic Waste Recycle Drive on Saturday, April 18th.  Since outdated electronics often end up in landfills where they can leak hazardous waste for many years; the drive will provide participants the opportunity to recycle safely.

Fans are invited to stop by the Red Hats in front of Angel Stadium to drop off old TVs, computer monitors, laptops and much more.

  • The first 200 cars to drop off display items will receive two (2) tickets to the April 22nd game when the Angels host the Detroit Tigers.
  • Fans who bring other acceptable items will receive an Angels promotional item (while supplies lasts). All proceeds from the recycled display items will benefit the Angels Baseball Foundation.

WHEN: Saturday, April 18th, from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM
WHERE: Angel Stadium parking lot - Enter through Gene Autry Way or Orangewood Ave. (2000 Gene Autry Way, Anaheim, CA 92806).

For more information on the display items that will be accepted, please THE ANGELS COMMUNITY EVENTS Site.
