Jakubauskas is going to pitch OK, but my guess is that he only goes 5. The only person in our bullpen that I remotely trust is Shawn Kelley and he pitched last night (and therefore might not be as sharp were he to be used). Vlad HRs off Batista and it either ties the game or gives you guys the lead. Shields will come in and shut the M’s down like he normally does…
As long as the M’s have Batista, Washburn and Silva you guys still have hope. In spades…

Jakubauskas should do very well
The Angels have enough trouble scoring runs (currently last in the AL). Last year I recall a few games where the Angels would struggle badly against pitchers with no track record.

Matt Harrison (Rangers): 7 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 BB 1 K (major league debut)
Sean Gallagher (A’s): 7 IP, 2H, 2R, 3 BB, 7K (AL debut, 1st appearance with the A’s)
