Does anyone understand why torn hip labrums take far less time to heal than torn shoulder labrums?
Or is it a function of the severity of the tear?
A-Rod is expected to be out 6-9 weeks. Escobar needs about a year.

my understanding:
they are much beefier and have way less wear and tear on them, heal easier and have more and bigger muscles around them making the healing easier. Basically if your scapula was your ass your shoulder would heal faster.
