They toss in four bonus babies: Chris Petit, Tyler Chatwood, Alexia Amarista (who they refer to as "Alex"), and Mark Trumbo in that order.

Sorry, Rev.
Football is on right now……………………..
I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t halftime.

so basically 50% of our top 10 came from last years draft
makes losing Type-A’s sting less, that’s for sure.

Hank Trout -Trumbo
Are you guys seriously bummed to see Mrs. Figginsworth leave…?
Basically, the M’skis need not sign Costco’s own Jason Bay. Just wish Garth Anderson could switch hit and bat righty — classic to see him sign with the Ichiro’s of Marinara.
Any HH meet & greats this off-season? Blog-love.

Umm... What?
Maybe I’ve been too overwhelmed with finals to keep up with Figgy being known as Mrs. Figginsworth and Jason Bay being apart of Costco. And who’s Garth Anderson?
Am I just really out of things?

Study well,
friend.

I don't have finals
And I still don’t know what the f is going on here.
Sethy - December 5, 2009
I haven't had any finals since high school..
And I have no idea what that post meant. Garth Anderson and Mrs. Figginsworth? Jason Bay works at Costco? What the hell does this mean? Inside jokes are fine, but, only if at least one other person gets the joke.

What is the top ranking by BP?
5 stars?
mustard_man - December 5, 2009
yes
Sethy - December 5, 2009
That's a lot of trade bait
To pick up other parts. As I see it, Conger, Reckling, Walden, Bourjos, and Trumbo will all make the bigs, but a few of those will likely be with other clubs.
Everything I’ve read about Trout leads me to think that he’ll hit much like a Johnny Damon, only without the girl scout arm, and I’m sorry for offending any strong armed girl scouts that might be reading this post.

Brownies
much fiercer as they have not yet been socialized to abhor violence.

Oh
Good point. Heaven help you if you don’t buy their cookies…you’ll be pushed into traffic after passing their booth outside the grocery store.
Slasher52 - December 5, 2009
apparently trout's arm is pretty weak
FYI

FutureAngels.com
Has it as a partially a mechanics issue as well so it could potentially get fixed or at least improved upon

That's what I've seen
I think an “average” arm is likely, he’ll never have a gun like Clemente, but then again…who has ever come close to that!
Slasher52 - December 6, 2009
hmm tons of arms on that list.......
not suprising…..

Bottom-line from this article

The Angels Minor League System is Strong.
We’re bottom heavy right now. But that’s a good thing. We’re so strong and deep in the majors, that a lot of the talent we need, won’t be needed for 3 or 4 years. Santana’s contract is up in 3 years, Weaver’s a FA in 3 years, Kazmir in two years and Saunders in 4. We’re going to need Will Smith, Garret Richards, Fabio Martinez, Tyler Chatwood, Tyler Skaggs etc..
Within the next 3 years we won’t have Hunter, GMJ, Rivera or Abreu anymore, we’re going to need Bourjos, Trumbo, Trout, Grichuk….
Soon enough, we’re going to be overloaded with catchers. Napoli and Mathis are fine splitting time now, but Bobby Wilson’s going to need a spot, Hank Conger’s too good to keep down and Carlos Ramirez may have been the steal of the draft.
We’re strong everywhere we need it.
