Speaking of Zeppelin, saw that new Page/Edge/Jack White doc on the plane, and it's good

Two great moments lift it out of the bland-high-concept category:

1) Watching Jimmy Page listen to Link Wray’s “The Rumble.” Oh dear is it satisfying, and somehow very explanatory.
2) Watching the Edge & Jack White finally crack their cool facades w/ shit-eating grin once Jimmy stands up, straps on the gee-tar, and plays the riff from “Whole Lotta Love.”

Also, Belinsky-philes should definitely check out Steve Oney’s sad story in L.A. mag from a few years back. Really a horrible, pathetic, violent life the moment he quit baseball, including but not limited to shooting his wife in the hip just after she gave birth.

I'm going out in the front yard to dance.

Just to make a fool of myself to get some laughs.

And when the hell did Escobar sign a minor league deal????
Right on Seitz

I like the Lackey analysis. That pretty much sums up the feeling I think a lot of people have towards him now. At least for me it does.
