So earlier we established that you’re not dying. So did you wake up one day and just snap and say to hell with all this Angels crap? Or is this the tip of the iceberg and you really, really have too much Angels crap? Or did your girlfriend lay the smack down on you and make you get rid of this stuff? It appears you have(had) quite a collection of stuff that most fans would love. So what’s the deal if I may ask?
It wouldn’t bother me a bit that Lackey might soon leave. That game is just so enjoyable, the greatest moment ever for the franchise. The other 4 games, you couldn’t pay me to watch them.
I want Game 4 of the 1995 ALDS between Seattle and NYY, but they only offer Game 5. Also, no love for the 2000 or 2001 ALDS games for us. Such is the plight of being a non-Dodgers West Coast fan.
would only have one game that Angels fans would want to watch more than once. Most of the games they have up are ones I’ve already seen one too many times (ie, once). The only game they’re missing is the 1995 one-game playoff. Sheesh.
I was smart enough to make an audio recording of game 6 of the 2002 WS...
So I have the whole game on my iPod, along with audio of the highlight reels of several other games. But listening to Rory and Terry call game six, especially Rory’s call of the final pitches of the game… it gives me goosebumps. And I like to listen to my iPod on random, so every once in a while Game six will just start playing, and more often than not I listen to it in its entirety.
When I can use Apple iTunes to buy those Apple m4v’s to get them on my Apple iMac, and transfer them using my Apple AirPort Express to my Apple TV and watch them on my sadly not-yet-Apple-branded HDTV?
Okay, I’m not actually that bad.
There are some m4v-to-DVD software packages of dubious legality which exist and, while I haven’t used them myself, should do what you ask.
OK Rev what's the deal?

I'm pretty sure this is being sold by MLB, on itunes, and not Rev's personal VHS collection.
I never realized itunes had MLB games…and I also came across a podcast called Angelscast..has anyone heard it?
clover_black - November 2, 2009
Oh. Thanks.
And DUH! To me.
Monkeyspanked - November 2, 2009
I bought 2002's game 7. Love it!
I really wish they had game 6.
I hope they put up some games from this post season. I could watch us come back on Papelbon a million times and not get sick of it.

+1
leethaxor4christ - November 2, 2009
I bought it off itunes at the beginning of the playoffs
ryanfea - November 2, 2009
All the LDS and LCS games available
On iTunes website. Here’s the <a href"http://mlb.mlb.com/downloads/" link> from mlb.com website that gets you to the MLB Playoffs page on iTunes.
seas98 - November 2, 2009
Sweet, I didn't realize they did that!

LINK FAIL
Sorry…still trying to get this linking thing down.
seas98 - November 2, 2009

If I was watching 2002 game 7
It wouldn’t bother me a bit that Lackey might soon leave. That game is just so enjoyable, the greatest moment ever for the franchise. The other 4 games, you couldn’t pay me to watch them.
RallyMonkey5 - November 2, 2009
We just need 2002 WS Game 6 now... I would pay for that
leethaxor4christ - November 2, 2009
to be honest
I’d rather have game 6 than game 7.
But I bought game 7 anyway.
Moondoggy - November 2, 2009
i never got why they didnt put up game 6
so much more monumental monkey madness!
teopeht - November 2, 2009
Wish they'd just put the entire 2002 series on DVD...
I’d like to have all 7 games. All I can ever find are the compilation DVD’s with interviews and highlights.

Pretty sure you can watch Game 6 here… Haven’t tried in a while. But probably about 6 months ago it worked.
SMUangelFan - November 2, 2009
Two of my great obsessions are the Angels and Apple
And I can tell you Apple doesn’t hate me (or my money) – I blame MLB for withholding the archived games.
AlanFalcon - November 2, 2009
Same issue here..

You do have to wonder why either MLB or Apple
would only have one game that Angels fans would want to watch more than once. Most of the games they have up are ones I’ve already seen one too many times (ie, once). The only game they’re missing is the 1995 one-game playoff. Sheesh.

yeah i have game 7 of the WS
its on my iPod Touch. i love it

Since you are an iPod aficionado
Is there any way to get those pesky m4v files onto DVD?
rspencer - November 2, 2009
But why would I want to do that?
When I can use Apple iTunes to buy those Apple m4v’s to get them on my Apple iMac, and transfer them using my Apple AirPort Express to my Apple TV and watch them on my sadly not-yet-Apple-branded HDTV?

AlanFalcon - November 2, 2009
Dubious legality is where i come in..
the program is called Podutil and it will transfer all your music and videos to your hard drive, off your ipod. Works like a charm.
:)
clover_black - November 2, 2009
Thanks, guys!
Just precisely the info I needed.

"The Los Angeles Sports Band"
I came across this on itunes. He has an album called Dodgers, Angels, Lakers & Clippers.
Angel songs:
Vladimir Guerrero, K-rod (62 saves), Torii Hunter (Welcome to Anaheim), How Ervin Santana Got His Name, Mike Scioscia, John Lackey.
Production quality is that of a 3rd grader using Garage Band, but hey, its worth a laugh, or a shake of the head.
clover_black - November 2, 2009
Oh, and a touching ballad called The Jeff and Jered Weaver Saga.
clover_black - November 2, 2009
NICE.
I’d love to hear that…!
Clutch - November 2, 2009
Clippers Theme Songs
"I’m a Loser, Baby" – Beck
"Goodbye, You Suck" – Shiloh
"I Surrender" – Celine Dion (if ever there was a poster girl for the Paper Clips…)
Quad Fin Rider - November 2, 2009
just saw..

Buselben - November 2, 2009
