Yeah -- not too high on the over-management myself
If the player is good enough to hold their own innings 1-8, let ’em be

if speed is THAT important on the paths, pinch run. don’t pinch hit a guy that can win it for you (Napoli) for a guy that’ll swing once during his AB
howiestheman - September 6, 2008
I think he was looking at Willits as a lead-off man
Which he hasn’t been much of this season.

I left my car on a George AFB parking lot, and as seemed to be true with a lot of things, they turned off the power at night, so there weren’t any lights on.

TheOptimist - September 6, 2008
Come on S-Rod, get something done...
TheOptimist - September 6, 2008
What the crap...

shiftyeyedgoat - September 6, 2008

Northwest - September 6, 2008

Carl Johnson - September 6, 2008
fielders choice?
Northwest - September 6, 2008
Baserunning error?
Oh, wait… He’d have to get on base first.
red floyd - September 6, 2008
BAH-ZING
howiestheman - September 6, 2008
If I hear
he gone again I’m going to break my computer!
ineptituderunsamok - September 6, 2008
Sean Rod has no power in the majors.
TheOptimist - September 6, 2008
He has hit some pretty deep balls though.
TheTypingFiend - September 6, 2008
Yeah
He got robbed by Dye early in the game. Sure double, possible triple, Hud even said it was a possible inside homer.
red floyd - September 6, 2008
Did Quinlan just have a 6 pitch at-bat?
Hurry, someone add that to the ‘career accomplishments’ section of his wikipedia!
Caseys Kiss of Death - September 6, 2008
He had a single earlier. Q's been one of our most effective batters in extras.
TheOptimist - September 6, 2008

UCIHalo - September 6, 2008

TheOptimist - September 6, 2008

howiestheman - September 6, 2008
Bulger's game day photo...
kinda makes him look like Tim Blake Nelson’s character Delmar from “O’ Brother Where Art Though”
Northwest - September 6, 2008
Win or lose, Bulger has shown he can pitch in the majors.
sothball - September 6, 2008
unlike SRod.

howiestheman - September 6, 2008
when has SRod pitched?
norcaliangelsfan - September 6, 2008
Not in the majors
I can promise you that much!
TheTypingFiend - September 6, 2008
All he knows about pitching is he can't hit it
Angel Aviator - September 6, 2008
Which is good
because the circumstances under which S-Rod would be pitching in the Show would have to be pretty scary.
scareduck - September 6, 2008
jesus... way to gang up on a grammatical error
srod has shown he can’t hit in the majors

44FAN - September 6, 2008
The Halos are way overdue...

TheTypingFiend - September 6, 2008

Also, Ho-Ram needs to get lit up.

I forget, you know everything...
and GA is the best player on the planet…
no way in hell, he’s faster than Matthews, no way
hk47 - September 6, 2008
Not everything.
I just pay attention. And not faster than Matthews. Matthews simply isn’t faster than GA at this point. And GA is also not particularly slow.
Zu Long - September 6, 2008
Cuz' he's not on the base paths anymore?

And Matthews isn’t really faster than Garret at this point.
Zu Long - September 6, 2008
Yes he is
hk47 - September 6, 2008
No, he's not. They're both 7-3 in SB this year.
