I think this falls under the argument of what is expect and who surprised, I expected Lackey to pitch well, I didn’t expect the day S-Rod especially after he got hit in the hand.
Runner-up: SRod. The homer itself was surprising. It seemed to just carry and carry until it sailed over the wall in center (thanks to video highlights at angelsbaseball.com).
BOTG to MLB Extra Innings; the idiots who didn’t carry this game, but did show the Padres/Nats game.
Lackey for sure

However the panther at Rev’s door has spoken.

Well,
The Ballpark is a bandbox. I knew he hit it hard… you could hear it on the KCOP broadcast.
red floyd - September 21, 2008
Rev, has the panther ever perhaps whispered one name, and lieutenant panthers whispered others?
or has a panther come once a month a whispered a name for that entire month? perhaps GA in the past bit?
anaheim angels - September 21, 2008
Lack Monster
Holy whiff ball.
And thank you God for creating GA (just thought I’d throw that in). What a class act and great baseball player.
