How odd

Because every time Robb Quinlan was in the lineup over Casey Kotchman, I found myself thinking, “Well, you can’t always get what you want.”

And it’s too bad that Jose Guillen isn’t still on our team, though I don’t think there would be very much sympathy for that devil.

Justin Speier

For me, Justin Speier’s song should be – No Expectations. But that’s just me…

Teixeira - Tumbling Dice (for the way he goes into 2B on DP attempts) or Mixed Emotions.

Vlad – Play With Fire (Not so much this year)
K-Rod – 19th Nervous Breakdown and/or When the Whip Comes Down
Sean Rodriguez – Get off of My Cloud
Justin Speier – Jumpin Jack Flash (“…it’s a {can of} gas gas gas..”) or Shattered
Scot Shields – Wanna Hold You

and Jose Arredondo - Wild Horses (His personality, not his pitching)
Bang on

with Wanna Hold You for Sheilds

Darren Oliver has got to be Brown Sugar............
wasnt brown sugar morrisey?
Rolling Stones have an extremely popular song by that name
i dont know why i think this

but i always thought that morrisey sounded like mick jagger, maybe its because i dont really listen to the stones or morrisey but when i heard the songs on the radio i was always thrown off by the two, and not knowing who was actually singing

Veteran Infielder Not Acquired – Miss You

K-Rod - 19th Nervous Breakdown
Speier - Tumbling Dice
Dino Ebel - Don't Stop

K-Rod & Teixeira – Everything Is Turning to Gold
Hudler – Hound Dog
Phyz – Can’t Get Next to You
Iszturis – Mannish Boy
Aybar, Hunter – Pretty Beat Up

For the Texas Rangers – Might As Well Get Juiced…and for their bullpen – Petrol Gang

For the Mariners & A’sses – Summertime Blues and This Place Is Empty

Doug Eddings – The Worst (too easy)

What an awesome post

Quinlan = Dirty Work
Scioscia = Flip The Switch
Francisco Rodriguez = Hand Of Fate
Darren Oliver – If You Need Me
Justin Speier = Off The Hook
Joe Saunders = Pretty Beat Up
Mark Teixeira = That’s How Strong My Love Is
Howie Kendrick = Walking The Dog
Dino Ebel = You Can Make It If You Try

Special section for Gary Matthews Jr

Might As Well Get Juiced
You Gotta Move
You Better Move On
When The Whip Comes Down
Prodigal Son
It Must Be Hell

Hand of Fate

Very underrated song.

The funny thing about the GMJ section...

..there are so many other appropriate titles (All Mixed Up, Back to Zero, Gotta Get Away, etc).

One final note...

My favorite lyrics from a Stones tune, “…There’s fever in the funk house now…” from Tumblin’ Dice could apply to this Angel’s season!

Jackie Autry = Backstreet Girl

Jeff Mathis

All the Way Down

Kelvim Escobar

Shattered

Weaver

“Far Away Eyes”

oh, Rev used this for Vlad

Mickey Hatcher - Undercover of the Night
Jose Guillen and "Cocksucker Blues"

off the Exile on Main St. album of course.

I was DJing at a bar last night

while watching the end of Angel game, this post came to mind, so I had to throw some Stones on.
Thanks for the inspiration
