which is a foregone conclusion at this point. Even with his 2/4 performance with 3 rbis and 2 runs scored with a GREAT play at the plate - which many people have underestimated - Garland deserves it just as much for getting his 100th win on a 1 run CG thrown with 98 pitches.
Insert poll for viewers of match to determine which star memember of luminous Angels team have most pleased my friends! Very intelligent manager is the Rev, all my friends study every post he write.
he got the game off on the right foot… on base 3x’s … garland pitched a gem but the game was well out of hand… kudos to mathis as well… we’re gonna need him to step up… naps is going on the DL with a shoulder inflammation
May this game be a shot across Soth’s bow to play this power source more. Jettisoning GMJ to the pine once and for all and plugging in Rivera - who, by the way, has one of the finest arms from the OF - would do wonders for this anemic offense. Juan just needs the reps.
“Wally Pipp” the fraudulent, one season wonder GMJ once and for all!
Complete game 1 run?
Gotta give it to Judy.
TheOptimist - July 6, 2008
rivera
had a great game both with the bat and his arm, but panthers gotta go to garland
Sorbo182 - July 6, 2008
yeppers

elricsi - July 6, 2008

norcaliangelsfan - July 6, 2008

Funke5ive - July 6, 2008
Judy!
Los Angeles de Anaheim - July 6, 2008
Judy for Panther!!
one run over a complete game.
plus, it was win 100.
you can’t beat that
howiestheman - July 6, 2008
he now brings angel starters with a below 4.00 ERA to 4 of em
halofan4life - July 6, 2008
moot..
but i shall stand strong beside GA!
scottnak - July 6, 2008
GA got it started off right........bailing out Vlad and Torii-ble.......
2 out 2 run RBI’s….......bueno
norcaliangelsfan - July 6, 2008
Gotta go with Judy here.
Zu Long - July 6, 2008
Mathis
3 ribbies and a blocked plate on Wells will get a few of ya’ll of his back…
Judy’s CG is nice, but I give it to Mathis today
hk47 - July 6, 2008
*off his back
struggling to type today
hk47 - July 6, 2008
I voted for Mathis
which is a foregone conclusion at this point. Even with his 2/4 performance with 3 rbis and 2 runs scored with a GREAT play at the plate - which many people have underestimated - Garland deserves it just as much for getting his 100th win on a 1 run CG thrown with 98 pitches.
shiftyeyedgoat - July 6, 2008
mathis played an outstanding game........
hopefully he can translate it to more consistancy…......
norcaliangelsfan - July 6, 2008
same for me- Mathis
Shame- would have been his first ‘08 Panther
hk47 - July 6, 2008
Well then Mathis can just play better or as well in his next start
And he can get a Panther all by himself!
highlandhalo - July 6, 2008
Gotta be Garland
Andyman - July 6, 2008
who's the baby?

Rev come sensible conclusion at long last!

highlandhalo - July 6, 2008
you win,
you always do.
very luminous
howiestheman - July 6, 2008
Damn
Speak Highlandhalo good Engrish luminously. Deepest hope that speak me so.
red floyd - July 6, 2008
My vote was Dorothy, btw
And in the old-school tradition, honourable mentions to Mathis, GA, Johnny Rivers. Mathis calling a great game had a big part in that CG by Dorothy.
highlandhalo - July 6, 2008
scottnak - July 6, 2008
i gotta go with GA
he got the game off on the right foot… on base 3x’s … garland pitched a gem but the game was well out of hand… kudos to mathis as well… we’re gonna need him to step up… naps is going on the DL with a shoulder inflammation
BigBangRobbDawgg - July 6, 2008
ouch... there goes his season
unless Mathis totally bombs, Naps won’t see anymore playing time this season
howiestheman - July 6, 2008
Best line-up of the year
Even though I am a Napoli fan, if Mathis can start to play like that, I will be satisfied. In any case, Side Salad is on the 15-day DL for now…
Mostly, I love seeing JR over GMJ. I hope he doesn’t get benched again!
halofan91 - July 6, 2008
agreed
sadly, on both points.
i’m hoping for Naps to come back blazing, but i’m not holding my breath.
love seeing Johnny Rivers getting the start over HGH, though.
howiestheman - July 6, 2008
i think it would be safe to say........that this race is over.....
Even CBS and Fox couldnt mess up this projection
norcaliangelsfan - July 6, 2008
Panther is Juan Rivera
May this game be a shot across Soth’s bow to play this power source more. Jettisoning GMJ to the pine once and for all and plugging in Rivera - who, by the way, has one of the finest arms from the OF - would do wonders for this anemic offense. Juan just needs the reps.

PieceOfAase - July 6, 2008
Panther
on the Wally Pipp reference!
halofan91 - July 6, 2008
Judy
Now, that is an extraordinary performance from a pitcher who usually gets knocked around for three or four runs per start.
BBFan1 - July 6, 2008
anyone notice
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=280706103
once again showing that the four letter network could care less about following the angels.
wallispdub1 - July 6, 2008
You're referring to our game highlights being James Loney I take it?
Zu Long - July 6, 2008
on Gameday's video thing earlier..
Juan Rivera’s homer was actually a homer from the O’s game.
go figure that one out.
effing bias… :P
