Maybe someday people will realise we have a really good team, really good pitching, pretty good-to-really good offense, a really good front office, a great owner, and a truly outstanding manager.
Only team in baseball with less than 40 losses. Let’s keep it that way for a while boys!
Somehow I think Hunter's going to turn out being a goldmine for nicknames
Congrats GA, should have used a bit more Blue Smoke earlier in your career, you might be closer to 3000 hits and 1500 runs by now, you loveable lazy old fart.
I like ALL our players. And Gary showed flashes last season of the type of player he can be. He seems a decent enough guy and a good team-mate but for some reason he just hasn’t put it together like he can this year. I feel sorry for the guy, but baseball is a performance-driven business and you’ve got to perform, simple as that. And a cool manager like Scioscia has a longer leash than most. Gary would have been sitting a lot sooner under most managers. Can you imagine if he was playing for Ozzie Guillen?
ESPN shows a shred of editorial credibility. One of the benefits of this road trip is we’re going to get A LOT of exposure this week going to the Bronx and Beantown … it’s a really good time for us to show everybody what we can do and what we’ve been doing all season.
gotta say TH, awesome night from him

halofan4life - July 26, 2008
Hula Dula?
Where’d that come from?
I seriously doubt that Hunter is a dula.

jjackflash - July 26, 2008

norcaliangelsfan - July 27, 2008
I wonder if that's the table game

red floyd - July 27, 2008
You never know, he might be a doula
Hunter’s a really nice guy! :) Great player too, I’m glad we have him on our team.
highlandhalo - July 27, 2008
Hunter = Panther
BTW: I predict in ten days ESPN posts an article along the lines of “Don’t Look Now: Here come the Angels”

K3YEROUT - July 26, 2008
Hunter. No Question.
Reached base all five times up. If you have just ONE guy play like this every game, you will lose VERY seldom.

I think Juan deserves a panther
Just for not sucking like GMJ.
infant - July 26, 2008
Just to be clear; I don't dislike GMJ
I just think he didn’t deserve all that playing time while struggling the entire time.
infant - July 26, 2008
I don't dislike GMJ either

Hopefully, positive exposure...
But, my confidence is low against the Red Sox this time around. Could be a bitch-slap session. Luckily, I am not playing. ;)
