Last year
he drew a walk once every 9 plate appearances. This year it’s down to 1 every 16. If it was a minor differential, I wouldn’t care…but the walk was a huge part of his game in the minors…when he would consistently walk far more than K.

Granted, that doesn’t win the game for you, but your job as a manger is to put your team in the best possible situation to win… Scosc did not do that today and that is why I blame him. The team has to get home and rest for a ngiht game against incoming TB.
We already won the series, which was a primary goal.
So…
Screw it. Send out our throw-away reliever and let him pitch until this is settled one way or the other…
