Vlad out of the lineup would otherwise be a good thing considering he’s looking like he’s done. I mean, that’s a harsh judgement, but can you even remember the last time he had a good at-bat? Every time Vlad has gotten a home run, everybody says, “oh, Vlad’s on his way back now”. And then he goes 2-for-a-week again.
If you’re gonna face a guy who can’t throw, might as well let your kids feast. Aside from the Kotchman weirdness, it’s not a terrible lineup, considering the opposition pitcher.
