Kotchman should be looking to drive one, how often does he drive one to the gap in LF center, I don’t think he’s ever hit a homerun to LF. You can hit to LF when you have 2 strikes and need to just make contact.
why should Kotch help him out when he can always go to LF. Kotchman doesn’t strikeout hardly at all especially against a retread like Miner. Hitting to LF will always be there with 2 strikes. He should have zoned him for a better pitch.
why is frankie coming in on a non save situation on game 1 of a series
you save him for the later games in a save situation to make sure no batter can get a beat off him. the only way a closer should pitch in the first game of a 3+ game series is in a save sit
