but his 103rd pitch of the game, in the 7th inning, was 95MPH, this is his second good road start of the year in two attempts, and he's close to going 2-0 with a sub-3.50ERA.
We know this guy has Cy Young potential...if he somehow comes into form this year...goddamn. Our rotation would be loaded.

Here's a question for any rules lawyers out there
Once in a while you'll see a player making an obvious attempt at a sac bunt reach on the attempt, as Aybar just did. I sometimes see this scored as a sac bunt with the batter reaching instead of an infield single. Can anybody explain why this is?

It's always supposed to be a single if they reach base on it, and there was no error or out at another base recorded.
But I guess it must just be a scoring decision.
