WTF? Man, I have never seen or heard of such quitter’s! We drop one game against a pitcher that was throwing 95 MPH aspirin’s all night and you guys are ready to throw in the towel? Remind me to never be on team with any of you because if that is the amount of heart that you have, then go be a congressman or something. You will fit right in.
I lean much harder towards yesterday’s post: we have them just where we want them. Now they are “expected” to win. The pressure is all on them because the ESPN’s and TBS Sports of the world have already decided who won this series.
Just imagine the look on their collective faces when we DO win the next 3. Chip Carey’s face may just implode which when you think about it, makes it all worth while.
One last rant: It burns my ass to no end every time I hear anyone say “The Angels just can’t beat the Red Sox in the playoff’s”. It was one fucking game!!! And fuck history…those were all different teams with different people at a different time.
Just because you hear the same old bullshit over and over in the sports media (and on this blog) doesn’t make it true. Quit being fucking sheep!!

Dice-K must be the most infuriating pitcher in baseball…..if you are a Red Sox fan. Nibble, nibble, nibble. Angels just need to wait him out and not chase his pitches just off the plate. Angels, with patience, will set a season high total for walks tonight. We will get into the Sox bullpen, which is their big weakness and do some damage. Lester is the Sox ace and he pitched like it. Yes I know who is pitching game 3, but I’ll take Lester.
Angels win games 2 and 3. I have confidence they’ll find a way to win that third game.

Dice-K wasn't the most infuriating pitcher
on our team. Clay Buchholz earns that title hands down. Seeing someone with his stuff struggle, especially knowing what he can accomplish, was pure agony. Daisuke was actually remarkably consistent: a lot of 5-6 inning starts, with plenty of walks but few hits and fewer runs. He gave the team a chance to win in almost every start. (Beckett, who doesn’t walk anyone, was way more unreliable than Dice-K.) By contrast, Buchholz spit the bit in all but one or two appearances. I’ll take Dice-K’s dicey execution and good results over Clay’s poor execution and terrible results any day.
