right after today’s game, Ravech, Phillips, and Kruk were discussing the game on ESPN, and they briefly showed a graphic at the bottom of the screen that said:
“2008 World Series Preivew— Phillies vs. Red Sox”
Looks like someone at ESPN was making assumptions… Or that’s just more evidence for their general Boston bias…
On the Teabagging Boston Sports network.
good ole Joe Buck and Tim McCarver doing the Fox Telecast.
I hope for a good 7 game series and hopefully the Rays and Joe Maddon can pull it out.
Alott of good black talent being showcased on both teams so I’m glad to see that in the hope of possibly the game growing more for blacks around the country.
But where else will I go for my constant stream of information about all things Boston? Oh thats right theres still the WWL.
Im just pulling for Joe Maddon. Wouldnt matter what team he was coaching. Joe was a great part of our organization, and I’m happy he’s doing well. He’s done an amazing job this year, and did what no other coach could do in Tampa. Just hope he and his team finish what they started.
Sox lost. That’s all i wanted to see. It would be nice to see Maddon win won as a manager but he’s already got a ring from a certain 2002 season so whatever…
it will be kinda nice to watch both teams objectively and honestly not give a shit what happens.
i’m picking the rays in 6. two great lineups, one solid pitching staff. outside of hamels (and lidge – if he gets in), philly’s pitching is going to get lit up.
Rays all the way
But Shane Victorino has the Hawaiian Localboy “When it counts” attitude. I see Shane winning the MVP

Yeah, I don't know how to watch a baseball telecast anymore unless it's interrupted by commercials telling me the network is "very funny."
