Can the Red Sox come back from a 3-1 Championship Series deficit and will there be any real fans of the team in attendance among the pink hats there tonight?
Gosh I can’t stand them. You can’t give them any extra life. They will take advantage of it. Looks like the series is going back to Tampa. And the Sox will probably win it all … AGAIN!
The Red Sox are amazing, no doubt about it. Left for dead yet again. Jeez. How in the heck do they do it? I hate them, but gotta respect that team effort.
As much as MLB, umpires, the national media, “The Nation,” etc., all love to stroke the Sawx, it’s not rigged. It’s just the way baseball works, I guarantee you. Teams go through prolonged slumps and prolonged “good” periods.
You think MLB rigged the Yankees to suck in the (late 60s? 80s? not certain of the years, here)? Again, I give you US the last eight years. We went from 41 games back in 2001 to the WS in 2002 and a TRUE contender ever since. This after forty years of suckitude and being one of the biggest laughingstocks in Major League Baseball.
Of course, MLB HAS seen a lot of “underdog” success stories recently…hmmm….maybe this Sawx thing is to re-establish a dynasty quick so we don’t get TOO complacent.
The orgasmic manlove blowfest of the TBS announcers is obvious.
The most bias I’ve encountered since Tommy Heinsohn manned the booth during all of those Lakers-Celtics games. May this game stick in Maddon’s craw enough to put Red Sox Nation out of their myopia/misery come Saturday.
