Will it Be the Los Angeles Cleveland Indians of Anaheim?

There is a slim chance that inclement weather will force the Cleveland Indians to play their three home games against the Angels HERE instead of in Cleveland.

If this happens, there will be three games at Angel Stadium of Anaheim this week - Tuesday and Wednesday at 4:05 pm and Thursday at Noon, all of which will be first-come-first-served to ticket buyers, as no season seats were sold for these alleged games.

This probably will not happen and the Angels will get on a plane Monday and try to play three games in Cleveland as scheduled. But it might happen, so get ready to be the first in line for the best seats in the house so that you can tell Scott Boras "Sorry dude, you and Helga cannot sit in your dugout suite tonight!"

Chance for injury and illness would decrease for both teams.

i like the idea...

...but are we sure they'd be day games? It doesn't say anything about it on the MLB site from what I can find. I'd love to snap up great tickets for these games, but not if they're going to be that early in the day since I work. Plus, you'd think they'd have a better chance of making up the revenue if they made them night games considering that the early games have lower attendance already...

But it does say they'd swap the revenue sharing for the series, which implies it would be to Cleveland's financial advantage to make them later games.

Argh, maybe I'm just stretching for a reason to think they'll be later games. I don't doubt your infinite wisdom, but is it 100% certain that'll be the times?

4PM = 7PM EST

If the games are later than 4PM PDT, it's too late for everyone here in Ohio. The same reason the East Coasters never know what's going on in the West. It's too late to stay up for the west coast games.

It sucks. I end up mlb.tving until the 7th inning or so when I go to sleep so I can wake up at 5:30 to go to work.

...then I waste the first hour of work here reading what happened.

The Angels game is canceled in Cleveland

for tomorrow, as the team flight to CLE has been canceled for today out of OC. This doesn't mean CLE will come here, though. I think MLB is hoping the weather will improve there in which case we would likely flu tomorrow and be scheduled a Double-Header Weds, as after the Thursday game we fly to BOS. We shall see.....
