This list brings back some great Halo memories. Rivers, the great Erstie, LaRoche (a personal favorite), Alex Johnson and way back to Freddy Newman. I looked him up to recall the 60’s. He was one of the first of so many great young arms who were called up by the Angels: Chance, Messersmith , the great Tanana, Clyde Wright, Aase, Finley. Some flamed out young.
Anyone see Tanana pitch during his first four years? At that stage I believe he was the best pitcher who wore the uniform at any time.
