Game Thread - Angels at Tigers - 10 a.m.
Kevin Gregg vs. Justin Verlander

Let's hope Jose Molina (or Mike Napoli filling in for the demoted Jeff Mathis) can catch the sinkerball pitches of the Kid from Corvalis, Oregon (drink everytime pathetic Steve Physioc says CORVALIS in fake entusiasm). Oh and then there is the hopes about our offense, but why wish for things that will just take care of themselves...
Scouting Report
NO Angel batters have faced Verlander
According, at least, to Yahoo Sports, oops, I mean "My Inside Sources"
To add insult to injury, Scott Spiezio hit his third homerun of the season last night for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Roster Moves/Today's Line-up
Mike Napoli is in today's line-up. And so is center fielder TOMMY MURPHY, who was called up from Salt Lake along with Napoli. Kotch is at first base, Kendrick at DH.Line-up:

ladybug - May 4, 2006
Murphy
Murphy is a tools guy who is considered the best athlete in the system. Good speed, good arm, good defender, all that jazz. Offensively, he never turned those tools into performance until last season, when he had an okay year at age 26 while repeating AA.He could be a late bloomer, stranger things have happened, but the fact that he didn't start hitting until he was old for his leagues isn't a sign that he's going to be a star or anything.
