Rough outing for him, he just left after the Giants had a 7-1 lead in the 3rd inning.Doesn't look too good for this game. However, Vlad did make a nice running catch in the 3rd.

I personally think Stevie Yan, has gotten a bad rap because he didn't see enough playing time. Hopefully we'll see some serious improvement with more regular time on the mound.Sosh was in total denial that the automatic trimuvirate of donnelly shields and frankie was being overused...
using an unproved player is a catch 22, I know. But, we have to mix it up this year, or die.

no doubt, he's mediocre...
I still think consistent playing time will improve his game.We can't afford to use the "automatic three" this year. The weight has to be distributed amongst the bullpen pitchers: that includes Stevie Yan.
He needs regular work to keep his chops up. Neglect of several pitchers in the pen last year was a problem, a vicious cycle for sure.
