There are times that you win with skill and there are times that you win with luck.
Today was a little of both.
Bartolo Colon is a different pitcher when he gets the black of the plate called. And don't anyone criticize Dallas McPherson's defense, he made a late-inning play at the line that Troy Glaus would have ganked (and probably gotten injured for four months on), in fact D-Mac probably saved the game. And speaking of Brittle "DL" Glaus, everyone make a joke about Bart being fat and hurting himself on the carpet at the Hankiedome, what was Troy's excuse?
The bullpen was obviously thinking Complete Game and was not at all prepared to make appearances, but that is when the luck part took over for the skill part.
