I just don't see this happening.
If this is Opening Day, we are Stewed, Screwed and Tattooed.
The glaring weakness is STILL the lack of Right Handed Power.
Hopefully there will be a tweak or two or three to the above before Opening day.

tough choice
i think it will be one of two scenarios:1 - Word gets around that Finley will start in center field. The Rev promptly declares the season over by March 29.
2 - G.A. has a slump for the first week of the season. Scareduck says the sky is falling by April 10.
If both scenarios occur, then no less than 7 HH posters will declare the season over by the end of May.

If I were a betting man...
Unfortunately, that is probably what will happen...i.e. no Manny or anything else. Maybe the front office will finally get their doom wish in Sweeney, then we'll all be throwing sticks at Stoneman after Sweeney breaks down for a month in the stretch run.I'll give the front office props for finally getting some lefty relief in the bullpen. The bat issue might not get resolved.
